CHANA MASALA RECIPE
1 Cup of Kabuli chana soaked for 5-6 hours and then pressure cooker it for 1 whistle on high and simmer for 10-15 mins
2 onions chopped
1 tomato chopped
3 light green chillies slit
½ inch ginger grated
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp of coriander/dhania powder
1tbsp chana masala powder
Salt to taste
½ tsp of chaat masala
1 tsp of kasuri meethi
Salt to taste
Method
Heat Oil in a pan,fry the onions till golden brown,add the red chilli powder & the coriander/dhania powder
Fry well add the chana masala powder
Next goes in the tomato,mix well
Add the boiled chana add a little of the reserve water (water in which the chana was cooked in the pressure cooker)
Add salt and cover & cook for a minute
Now add the kasuri meethi & chaat masala
Garnish with some fresh coriander/cilantro/cothmir
