Todays recipe is my all time favourite snack of Chicken puffs..I have also included my very easy puff pastry recipe too.

For the puff pastry
Ingredients
1 & 1/2 cup maida/all purpose flour
1/2 cup of water
a pinch of salt
2 tbsp of ghee/clarified butter
also for the paste
1/2 cup cornflour
1/4 ghee
First add the 2 tbsp of ghee to the flour ,mix well till it resembles bread crumbs ,add water a little at a time to form a stiff and firm dough,prepare a smooth paste of the cornflour and ghee..
divide the dough into 6 parts ,roll each out ,apply a little of the paste and cover with another rolled out sheet..follow the instructions in the video...keep the dough aside once ready for 20 mins.
Now for the filling
Boil a cup of chicken..till cooked ,shred once the chicken is at room temp...
prepare a white sauce with 1 tbsp butter,1 tbsp flour and 1 cup of milk to a smooth paste,add salt and pepper to taste ,add the boiled and shredded chicken and mix in well..set aside in the refrigerator for 15 mins..
Make the shapes from the dough as shown in the video..fill in the filling and prepare the puffs ..bake in a preheated oven @ 180 deg C for 20-25 mins till nice and golden brown in colour.
