Gulacha Sheera|Sheera amde with Jaggery/Gul|Semolina,rawa recipe ,no sugar recipe
Ingredients
1 cup semolina /rawa
1 cup grated jaggery /gul
3 cups water
1/2 tsp cardamon/elaichi powder
1/4 tsp grated nutmeg/jaiphal
10 tsp ghee
a pinch of salt
1/2 cup of mixed dry fruits(cashews,almonds & raisins)
Method
Mix the jaggery in the water ,let it dissolve completely on a low to medium heat,strain the mixture.
Heat a pan ,dry roast the rawa for a min ,trf to a plate,in the same pan heat 4 tsp ghee,fry the dry fruits,once done take them & set aside,add 4 tsp more of ghee to the pan ,add the roasted rawa,fry well,add the nutmeg & cardamon powder ,mix well,add the hot jaggery mixture and the dry fruits,cover & cook for 1 min,after a min stir the mixture & cook for 1 min.turn off the heat add 2 tsp ghee cover & set aside for 5 mins.Sheera is all ready
