Today's recipe is Kulkuls here are the ingredients & method
250 grams of flour/maida
50 grams of powdered sugar
2 tbsp of very fine rawa/semolina
(if you have the thick /medium rawa grind it in the mixer to a fine consistency)
pinch of salt
1 egg
1tsp of vanilla essence
1 tbsp of ghee
100 ml of thick coconut milk(to be used as needed)
Method
In a large plate add the flour,salt,powdered sugar,rawa mix well..make a well in the centre
and add the egg mix well ,add a little of the coconut milk at a time & knead to a soft yet firm dough add a little ghee while kneading the dough for a smooth consistency,rest the dough for 1 hour,after 1 hour shape into different forms as shown in the video.After all the kulkuls are formed deep fry on a low flame to a golden brown colour.(Tip-keep - kulkuls as thin as possible and not very thick and bulky..as if they are thick they will remain raw on the inside..where as if they are fine/thin in consistency they become crispy and fry well all through..)
