CARROT CAKE RECIPE

Today's recipe is a moist ,fresh and yummy carrot cake.. here are the ingredients and method.. Ingredients: 3 Carrots peeled and grated 1/2 + 1/3 rd cup of butter (preferably at room temp) 2 eggs 1 & 1/2 cup of maida/all purpose flour 1 tsp of baking powder 1 tsp of vanilla essence 3 tbsp of milk 1 inch of grated ginger 1/2 tsp of cinnamon powder 1/2 tsp of nutmeg powder 3/4 th cup of powdered sugar (You can add chopped up dry fruits like cashewnuts,almonds ,kismis /dried raisins too it’s optional) Method Sift the dry ingredients together(maida,baking powder & powdered sugar)in a separate bowl.In a separate bowl add the butter and beat/whisk for a whole 5 minutes ,add the eggs whisk well..now add the milk and the vanilla essence too..whisk well.add the grated ginger ,cinnamon powder and nutmeg powder..mix well.Preheat your oven to 180 deg C for 10 mins..In a searate bowl,add half of the dry mixture ,half of the wet mixture ,half of the grated carrots ..mix /fold in..now repeat till all of the ingredients are together in one bowl..mix well.. Pour the mix into a lined baking tin and bake for 45-50 mins @ 180 deg C..
