Pepperoni Pizza recipe|Whole wheat Dough recipe & Pizza sauce recipe included| @AkshatasRecipes Today's recipe is my homemade pepperoni pizza recipe,where I made my own whole wheat dough from scratch as well as the pizza sauce from scratch. for the pizza base 1/4 cup warm water 1 tsp of sugar 2 tbsp of dry active yeast 2 cups of plain flour/maida(you could use whole wheat flour too) for the pizza sauce 10 tomatoes blanched 1 tbsp of minced garlic 1 tsp of pepper 1 tsp of red chilli flakes 1 tsp of pizza seasoning/mixed herbs 1 tsp paprika/red kashmiri chilli powder salt to taste for the topping Chicken/Paneer(recipe links below) Sliced Jalapenos Sliced olives Sliced Capsicum Cubed Onions Mixed cheese(Mozarella,Processed & Cheddar) Method Add the sugar to the luke warm water and mix well.add the yeast ,do not stir,let the yeast double in size.Add this mixture to the plain flour.add a pinch of salt.knead to a sticky dough set it aside to double in size..For the pizza sauc

Goan Brinjal Pickle Recipe Today's recipe is my Nana's recipe of Brinjal Pickle,made the goan way. Its so delicious .The best part is you can have this the same day ,although it does taste better with time. Ingredients 1 medium sized Brinjal(250 gms) cut into medium sized cubes 2 tbsp of salt for the masala paste 1 inch of ginger 8 cloves of garlic 1 tbsp of cumin seeds 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder 7-8 red chillies 1/2 cup of vinegar Other important ingredients 5 cloves of garlic chopped fine 7-8 Fresh Curry Leaves 1/2 Cup of grated jaggery (If you do not use jaggery you can add sugar as per your taste) 1/2 tbsp of Kashmiri red chilly powder(for the rich colour) Salt to taste 1& 1/2 Cup of oil(which acts as a preservative too) Method Add the cubed Brinjal to a colander/sieve,add the salt & mix well.
