Bebinca Recipe|7 layered Bebic recipe

Today's recipe is Goan Sweet recipe . 

Here are the ingredients and method

Ingredients

8 egg yolks.

350 grams of sugar

2 & ½ cups of coconut milk(600 ml)

1/2 tsp of nutmeg/jaiphal powder

2 tbsp of caramel

 140 gms of flour/maida

½ tsp of salt

1/2 cup of ghee/clarified butter       

Method

Add the egg yolks to a large mixing bowl ,add the sugar mix a bit..add the coconut milk,mix the mixture till   all of the sugar dissolves  ,add the nutmeg powder mix well..add the flour half at a time & mix in well to get a smooth batter with no  lumps..sift/sieve the mixture 

Make two halves of this batter,to one add the caramel syrup…stir in well..

Preheat your oven to 200 deg C for 10 mins..Take an 8 inch round pan of 2 inch thickness

Pour in 6 tsp of ghee and coat the entire pan with it ,the sides too..now pour 1 tbsp of the dark batter .bake for 10 mins at 200 deg C,take the pan out brush some ghee on the top now add a cup of the lighter colour batter bake with only the top heat on for 10 mins..repeat

This till all of the batter & layers are done..let the bebinca cool completely for 4-5 hours before demolding…Cut into desired shapes and enjoy
