SIMPLE PEAS PULAO RECIPE



Today's recipe is a very simple pulao recipe,gets ready in less than 10 minutes.Ideal when surprise guests drop in,or if you're hungry and want to make something really quick.it's also a great tiffin idea both for kids as well as adults.I love to club this pulao /peas rice with some goan potato chops
or some green fried chicken
or chicken cutlets

Ingredients

1 cup rice
1 medium onion
6 light green chillies
1 ich ginger
5 cloves of garlic
4 cloves
10 pepper corns
1/2 inch cinnamon
2 cardammons
1/4 cup carrots diced fine
3 maggi cubes
1/4 tsp of turmeric powder
wash and soak the rice for 5-10 mins
1/2 cup peas
1/4 cup of french beans diced fine
grind a coarse paste of the ginger garlic and green chillies,chop the onion very fine
Method

after 10 mins drain and keep aside
add the whole spices,then the coarse paste fry well,add the onions
heat 2 tbsp of ghee /clarified butter in a pan/pot
and the turmeric powder and the maggie cubes mix well add the rice fry a while add 2 cups of water ,let the water come to a boil in the pan/pot on a high flame ,once that happen ,lower the flame to
the lowest ,cover and cook for about 5-7 mins,
once the water eveporates ,turn the heat off ,keep covered for another 2 mins
Peas Pulao all ready
