Simple Pulao Recipe

Method

1.Soak rice - 1 cup in water for 1 hour

2.Heat oil - 3 tablespoon and to it add spices

Cloves - 5

Green cardamom - 3

Black cardamom - 2

Blackpeppercorns - 1/2 teaspoon

black cumin/shah jeera 1/2 teaspoon

3.Then add Sliced onion - 1 big sized

4.Add dried fenugreek leaves/kasuri meethi - 1 tablespoon

5.Then add ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon

6.Green chillies - 1 chopped fine

7.Tomatoes finely cut - 3 cook till they turn smooth

8.Add 2 tbsp yogurt

9 salt to taste

10.Add coriander powder - 1 teaspoon

Garam masala powder - 1 teaspoon

 Add Cinnamon powder -1 teaspoon

11.Cook till oil appears on sides

12.Now add water and salt as required

13.When water starts boiling add the soaked rice and cook till water dries completely

14. Pulao is ready to serve
